How To Make Coffee Ice Cubes
If you're a coffee lover you'll need your daily dose even in the summer, but how can you still have your coffee in the heat? With coffee ice cubes & cold brew! You might be asking does the coffee still have an effect when it has been frozen? The answer is yes.
You'll want, but do not need a cold brew coffee jug for the best tasting coffee cubes. If you don't have one feel free to just use instant coffee, french press or espresso shots and water.
Here are three recipes to try for making coffee ice cubes. Like your coffee black? We've got you covered...Like your coffee sweet or with milk? We've got you covered too!
Directions
1. Cold brew ice cubes: Make however much cold brew you'd like, using a cold brew jug. Once the cold brew has been brewed, pour the cold brew into ice cube molds and freeze until solid, about 5 hours. Enjoy with iced coffee!
2. For Mocha Ice Cubes: In a liquid measuring cup, combine iced coffee or cold brew, milk and chocolate syrup or melted carob. Whisk until well combined then pour into ice cube molds and freeze until solid, about 5 hours.
3. For Caramel Macchiato Ice Cubes: In a liquid measuring cup, combine iced coffee, milk and caramel. Whisk until well combined then pour into ice cube molds and freeze until solid, about 5 hours.
*Side Note: Feel free to use plant based milks!
