Pour Over Filters

In our modern world, where eco-consciousness is on the rise, finding sustainable alternatives to everyday products is crucial.

When it comes to enjoying a rich and aromatic cup of coffee, the pour-over method has gained popularity for its precise brewing process.

While traditional pour-over filters often rely on paper, today we'll explore the wonders of reusable pour-over filters that eliminate the need for disposable paper filters, allowing you to enjoy your coffee while reducing your environmental footprint.

  1. A Greener Choice:
The environmental impact of paper filters is undeniable. With each cup of coffee brewed, countless paper filters are discarded, contributing to the mounting waste in landfills. By switching to reusable pour-over filters, you take a significant step towards reducing this waste. These filters are usually made from high-quality stainless steel or food-grade silicone, ensuring durability and long-term use.
  2. Enhanced Flavour:
One of the greatest advantages of using reusable pour-over filters is their ability to preserve the natural oils and flavours of the coffee beans. Paper filters can absorb some of these oils, resulting in a milder taste. In contrast, reusable filters allow the oils to pass through, producing a fuller and more robust flavour profile. Coffee enthusiasts often appreciate the heightened taste experience that comes with using a reusable filter.
  3. Cost-Effective Solution:
Investing in reusable pour-over filters can save you money in the long run. While the initial cost may be higher than purchasing a pack of paper filters, the durability and reusability of these filters quickly offset the expense. Imagine the savings over time when you no longer need to constantly replenish your stock of disposable filters.
  4. Easy to Clean and Maintain:
Reusable pour-over filters are designed for convenience. Cleaning them is as simple as rinsing them under running water or placing them in the dishwasher. This hassle-free maintenance ensures that your filters remain in pristine condition and ready for your next brewing session.

By opting for reusable pour-over filters, you can make a meaningful impact on both the environment and your coffee-brewing experience.

These filters offer a sustainable alternative to paper filters, reducing waste while enhancing the flavour of your favorite beverage. With their durability and cost-effectiveness, they are a smart investment for coffee lovers who value both sustainability and taste.

Embrace the paper-free brewing revolution and savour the rich, flavourful cup of coffee that reusable pour-over filters can deliver. Your taste buds and the planet will thank you!

FAQs

How do I clean a pour-over filter?

You can either use your dishwasher or you can wash under the tap with hot water.

Before washing make sure you tap out your coffee grounds into your compost or bin.

How long will my product take to arrive?

All products store-wide will take 2-7 business days from the date of order.

Can I return my filter?

Yes! Products can be returned within the first 30 days of purchase. Click here to see our returns centre.

What sort of grind should I use for a pour-over coffee?

We recommend using a medium/coarse grind! Too fine a grind will leave you with coffee grounds in your coffee and a grind too coarse won't drain very well...Leaving your coffee tasteless.

How much coffee should I use for the pour-over?

We recommend 25-35 grams of coffee to about 250 ml - 300 ml of water!

We recommend a ratio between 1:12 - 1:15 coffee to water.
